Last year one or our trustees, Chris Wood, walked the Thames in 15 different stages with a different dog for each stage. He is doing it again this year but also wants to inspire our supporters to arrange their own sponsored walks, getting as many legs as possible to join them. All leggy creatures qualify!!

It needn’t be a long walk. An afternoon stroll in the country, round a park or even walking the kids to their grandparents will do. We're aiming to get 500 legs walking, so rope in your friends and all their pets. The legs will quickly mount up. One person with a dog is six legs, if you add a parrot its eight legs!!

If you are not able to walk any distance, do you know a friend or family member who would walk on your behalf?

We think it will be a great fundraiser, great fun and should generate lots of publicity, so please join us.
