We are delighted to introduce Scott Fisher as one of Mast Cell Action’s Ambassadors. Scott’s journey to supporting our cause stems from a deeply personal connection - his wife, Megan, lives with severe Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). Witnessing firsthand the challenges that come with navigating a life-altering condition, Scott has turned his compassion and determination into action, becoming a passionate advocate and fundraiser for the MCAS community.
Scott embodies resilience and creativity in his approach to raising awareness. Inspired by the number of pills Megan takes each day to manage her symptoms, Scott designed the Marathons for MAST Cell challenge, running 27 marathons in 27 days to highlight the daily struggles faced by those with MCAS.
His commitment goes beyond running; it’s about amplifying the voices of people like Megan, ensuring they are heard, and helping to pave the way for better support, research, and care.
As an ambassador, Scott’s story is a powerful reminder of the impact that one person can have in raising both awareness and hope. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication and thrilled to have him on board to inspire others and champion the vital work of Mast Cell Action.
